This cd was spearheaded by pianist Jesse McBride who commissioned former students/disciples of Harold Battiste to do big band arrangements from “The Silverbook” for this record. The arrangers featured were Rex Gregory, Brice Winston, Andrew Baham, Antoine Drye, and your truly.
